Title: Range work day.
Post by: Hurricanecharly on March 12, 2020, 07:13:48 PM
Looking at my yard spring ( weeds and mowing) will start sooner than we think!
We have a nice range in my experience  it's easier to maintain  if you get a head of it.
Dbl Barrel  asked for people to chip in at the last shoot.
Sundays 10AM  till 2pm could work for me, how about the officers  and other members?

Sounds good Sudden Sam  and Two  Step.
Maybe we can have Dbl Barrel  announce  it again at this upcoming  match and get a large  group to agree on a time and date.
A list of priorities  and 10 to 12 people would set us up in good shape!

Maybe we need some idea of what work projects need to be done.

Off the top of my head, poison sprayed on fence line, gravel drive and unmovable areas.
Decide what to do with picnic table, blue bench , stairs for 4 and  stuff washed behind berms.
Tear apart pallets to build closets on 1 and 6.
Decision on paint shed patch up teat down at very least clean up and inventory.sell or dispose stuff we haven't used in 8 years, with plan for proceeds if any.
I plan to finish up 6 when I get time, and build storage rack for barrels out of scrap lumber.
Priorities  would be poison and general clean up and pallets  before it gets out of hand.

The list HC gave is  pretty much what needs doing. Maybe add a first mowing and weed eating. Trim tree limbs on the berms that the mowers have to dodge.
