The 1 second challenge is something that I introduced to Hurricane Charley, Scrub Oak Willie and Dirtwater Fox to after we finished shooting the PCC match in N. AL. It is 16"x24" plates L/R and a 12" circle plate in the middle. All targets at 7 yards and spacing the center of the targets 3 ft apart from each other. You start holding the gun at low ready safety off or preferably aimed at a start cone at 4 yards. You double tap both the Left and Right targets and then put a single round on the circle in the middle. You become a member of a very elite club of shooters nationwide if you are able to accomplish these 5 hits in under 1 second. It had been several years since I attempted this feat and we set it up two weeks ago with smaller targets spaced to far apart, but we still managed some really good runs. With four shooters under 1.5 seconds and Charley turning in a 1.3. If set up correctly I think that their is a good chance of getting some of our shooters in the club. Worst case it is great practice for first shot and transitions speed and a ton of fun.
Just suppose I get to attend the match, and suppose I am on time, and suppose I have Ten Dollars, and
assume 9mm is worth about a dollar a shot, and further suppose someone would lend me a pcc and ammo,
For cash.....Two runs.

Dirtwarers cowboy rifle speed is up there with anyone around, I'm not surprised. His p.c.c trigger is that fast!
