Hey all, gonna be adding 'powder coating' as an option for KZ bullets. Getting it set up now so if you want that service be sure to let me know with your next order.
The cost will be $10 per unit ordered just like my black powder lube fee. For example, a box (#500) of 38s is $25. The powder coating service will be +$10 ... total of $35 / 500. This is about what you can find them for online + shipping and taxes.
Zig what are the advantages?
Do I have to shoot pink bullets like some people, no names or do we have a color choice?
Charley, pink bullets are for those little slow bullets. A good fast moving bullet will probably be blue.
Golly, Charly. I didn't know pink was your color. ::) Now that I know, I made a batch of PRETTY PINK bullets.
Just for you!!! ;D
Ziggy's prices seem very reasonable. Color-coating takes more time, skill, and more investment. But it is superior in lots of ways.
You could drive a Model A, and it would get you there. So you would ask, what is the advantage of driving a new Ford?
Color-coating is unbelievably tough. It will stand more heat, therefore more velocity. If you have any leading problem, color-coating will almost certainly solve it. It leaves a remarkably clean barrel. If you want to shoot bullets that are a bit too small for your gun, (such as 9mm bullets in a 38) color-coating adds about 3-thousandths to the diameter. Then you can size if desired, to make your bullets more uniform. And on and on and on.................
Have selected blue to start with ... all bullets will be sized after the coating process and will be the same diameter as my cast bullets.
Thanks critter but according to purly you may want to give them to dbl nickel or too tall.
Ziggy I like the bullets being all the same size one less thing for me to do.
I will take a thousand as long as there blue and not magenta.
I picked up 1000 coated bullets from Ziggy. They look great, if you have considered or now use coated bullets these are good bullets at a good price.
