The 1st Annual Boom Town Match is shaping up to be a pretty good sized event with over 70 pre-registered. It will be hot. There is just no way around it. With that in mind, especially for newcomers -
1. Stay hydrated. We will have coldish water, but I drank 3 bottles Saturday so bring some extra.
2. The first aid bag hangs in front of Stage 3. White bag, red cross and "Emergency" is on it. The gunshot wound orange bag is inside the Emergency bag on the top, the defibrillator is under it. I treat gunshot wounds with tampons, 3" square gauze pads and stretchy ribbon tape for pressure.
3. The defibrillator (Lifepak CR+) is pretty much dummy proof, just open it and follow the spoken instructions. It would be worth the 5 minutes to watch the video located here and other places -

4. I'm the designated medic so call me if anything bad happens. Do not try to transport anyone by car. Our physical & GPS address are on a laminated sheet in the bag.
Shoot safe, live long and prosper,
Cherokee Slim
It's a great asset to Tmm to have slim as a solid first responder with a plan ready.
There will be enough winter and ice there to float a battle ship!
I've built houses all my life on barrier islands and so forth.
Hard to do but hydrating the night before is the key then the day of the shoot you are maintaining not playing catch up.
There will be more shade than ever and fans(quiet) on every stage.
Oooh and icecream!
