General Talk / BoomTown Pictures

Here is a link to almost 300 pictures Reno took during BoomTown on Saturday.  You will probably need to use the password BOOMTOWN (all caps) to access the pictures on his account with PhotoBucket.

http://s1248.photobucket.com/user/RenoMustang/library/BOOM%20TOWN

If the link doesn't work you will need to copy and paste it into your web browser.

Also, if there is a picture(s) you like click on it and once it comes up as a single you can right click the mouse, which will give you the option to save or copy (I hope).  If you have any questions send me an email at kathyburris@me.com and I will try to help.  Otherwise, ask someone who really knows what they are doing with this kind of stuff.

It was a super fun match even though it was just a little bit "warm" on Saturday.  Really appreciate all the extra effort made by Hurricane Charley and others to add more cover plus the fans, etc.  All of it helped tremendously.

Reno and I thank each and every cowboy, cowgirl, etc. who worked so long and so hard on this match. We always enjoy shooting here and look forward to coming back as often as possible.

The huge turnout is a testament to Hurricane Charley and his crew of dedicated workers. You went above and beyond to make it fun for the whole gang. We can't possibly thank you enough for all you do, but please know we do appreciate it.

What a beautiful and fun day to shoot. Plus shooting with the ladies was a blast - and well, a few of the cowboys as well!  "Loose Cincherina" was our main entertainment of the day. Wow did "she" ever have some skill!!

Thanks to all who worked to put on the match!  Reno and I always look forward to shooting here.

Oh, and Sam I forgot to ask if I could borrow that awesome hat to shoot in today!

I will bring my cart made by Papa Dave, so Reno can use our Rugged Gear cart. Any of the ladies are welcome to share with me if needed.

I would stop and yell "gun boy come quick"!  After Reno took care of my shotgun I would be good to go. Sorry, Bad Santa made me say that!

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope Santa is good to you!

Hot dang!  Go Jen go!  I love it!!

Told you a sxs is better than that old rattletrap '97 Hurricane Charly, but you just keep shooting it and watching Jen fly by you!  Hee, hee, hee!

Purly forgot to mention that he finished 8th overall!  Yeehaw that was good shooting!

It was a great match from stage setup through the banquet and awards.  Hot Lead Lefty and his crew did a wonderful job and we can't thank them enough for all the hard work.  That being said, I sure hope the weather in North Alabama is dry and much warmer next year for the Regional match.  Brrrrrr it was cold!

On a sad note, it seems some lousy thieves decided to break in a few vehicles and steal some of the cowboys stuff during the banquet Saturday night.  Double Nickel lost his carry gun and the dash wash torn so the thieves could take the stereo as well.  I believe his wife's purse was also taken, which contained her driver's license, keys, etc.  That is super scary as I know from past experience!  Tombstone John's vehicle was the other one broken into.  They took his and Randy Saint Eagle's holsters, shotgun belts, ammo, and several other items.  Fortunately, the thieves were not able to gain access to any of the cowboy guns.  As we all know, this seems to be the way the world is more and more these days.  Please be very vigilant in keeping your equipment safe!

Hey Hurricane Charly, it sure makes ME smile that Slo Jen is practicing.  Be sure to talk with Reno about some really good pointers on being a "gun boy"!  He can let you in on the advantages AND disadvantages of being a good gun boy.

Seriously, it's amazingly fun to shoot together.  So, have fun and enjoy!

Congratulations "Purly Man"!!  Great shooting.

Reno and I always enjoy shooting at TMM.  The stages are fun (even the ones I manage to mess up), but it's the cowboys/cowgirls that make it the most fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed showing the ladies a few things I've learned.  It's very rewarding being able to pay it forward for all the help given to me by others.  Anytime I can be of help to someone is a bonus for me.  It's one of the things that makes this sport so great!

Look forward to being back again soon!
