The Marauders monthly match will be held this Saturday 5/18/24.

Registration starts at 8:30am.  Pledge, prayer, safety brief and announcements at 10am and the match starts right after that.  Five stages using only bays 2, 3 and 4.

Many of us still remember Hoss Carpenter.  He shot with the Marauders and the Ocoee Rangers for a lot of years.  He plans to visit the range this coming Saturday.  He says he's bringing a lot of cowboy clothes to sell.  He told me he will NOT be selling any firearms.  So weather or not you are interested in acquiring some clothes, hats, scarfs, etc. be sure to stop by to say "hello".

It is a great help if the club knows ahead of time who is coming and what posse they would like to shoot on.  Include your alias, category and who you would like to shoot with.

Our friend, Ocoee Red, is back in Memorial Hospital.

According to Sheza Pistol, he has been having problems keeping his heart rhythm steady.  He will have a TEE (short for Transesophageal Echocardiogram) first.  Google calls it a special ultrasound that checks for blood clots in the heart.  Then he is supposed to have a Cardio Inversion.  Cardio Inversion is a procedure that shocks the heart into a normal rhythm.  The procedures are to be performed tomorrow morning.

Having said that.  We all need to include Red in our prayers tonight.

It really helps if the Marauders know who is coming ahead of the day of the match.  Speeds up registration.  Definitely helps with posse assignment.  Leave your alias, category and who you would like to posse with.  With all of this said, walkups are always welcome.

Attached is a PDF for the PCC match this Saturday.  It's pretty vanilla.  Nothing fancy.  The match should go fast.  In consideration of the availability of 9mm ammunition, there will be a total of 36+ rds for the two stages.
