He has been fighting illness for years,and most recently in rehab dbl pneumonia.
The Colonel became a good friend to me and to all the cowboys and cowgirl.
His wife of 60+ years Carolynn Lott said it was ok to post the unfortunate news and her address for anyone wanting to send condolences.

There will be no services here, Horseshoe will be buried in Indiana with family.
Rest in peace Dennis

Last post by Double Barrel - January 15, 2026, 07:46:54 PMAfter looking at several local weather resources we are going to cancel Saturday's match. With rain Friday night and the cold temperatures and the higher than normal winds, I don't think it would make for a safe shooting environment.

Last post by Double Barrel - January 02, 2026, 03:12:17 PM Hey can you post a very special thank you from us for all the cards calls texts and most of all prayers. 1st Chemo was Weds. He came home also with a pump for a couple days which they removed today. We get a two week break now. He is tolerating the chemo well. Just a little tired and fluish feeling. Love yall! Continued prayers please!
