TMM Alternate Driving Directions To The Range

On occasion after a hard rain, the road to the TMM range – WOOTEN RD - will flood in a low area and the local police will temporarily close the road.  Should the road ever be closed again, here is an easy way to get around the water and arrive safely at the TMM range.

Travel on Hwy 41 – as you always do – after you get off I-75.
WOOTEN RD is where we always turn left (at the blind curve) to take us to the range.
DON'T TURN ONTO WOOTEN RD.  Stay on Hwy 41.

Drive 1.6 miles and turn left onto GRAYSVILLE RD.
(You will see a MAPCO convenience store at the intersection of HWY 41 and GRAYSVILLE RD.)

Drive .9 miles on GRAYSVILLE RD and turn left onto WOOTEN RD. 
(You will see a church at the intersection of GRAYSVILLE RD and WOOTEN RD.)

Continue .6 miles on WOOTEN RD and you will see the entrance to Phoenix Farms on the right. 
And you are there ! .

Ok, so what do I do if one is coming down Graysville Rd from E. Brainered and the train is parked over Graysville Rd at Chickamauga Creek...........which has happened before on shoot day.   Does one begin cursing and stomping their feet on the floorboard, start throwing rocks at the train, or all three?
