Prayers for Horseshoe John

I just talked to Horseshoe John this evening.  Horseshoe says he has a leaking valve in his heart that will require surgery.  That the leak has been there for a while.  A doctor's recommendation a few years ago said the repair was needed.  But the diagnosis got lost in all the paperwork of the VA hospital.  Horseshoe says he only found out about this a few hours ago.  That the procedure to repair the valve needs to be done soon.  He is scheduled to see a heart doctor and arrange to have the valve repaired in Chattanooga.  Let's all keep him in our hearts and prayers.

Horse shoe if you need a ride or hand I'm here, don't hesitate!
The va I'm sure has lots of hard working, and caring folks!
My grandfather  died from a staff infection caught at th va when he broke his hip felling trees.
With all the things we do and pay for out side of our borders it's a shame we don't do better, and fund the va better for our own!
