Like the Macy day parade, they don't start planning for after Halloween.  We should start planning for next year for T.M.M.
I've had some ideas!
Like to hear other ,thought out ideas,  things  you're like to see.
NO BIG BALLOONS!

Hurricanecharly

Some thing on 6 .
Sheds fixed and organized, easier on set up crew, easier and safer to put up targets!
Storage box or closet on 1 for same reasons  as above.
Benches on all stages for folks with sore feet/ legs / backs.some new targets and stands so we have more stage options.
Decorations for stages.
Sponsors to name structures!
Charging target!
Ultimately  a pavilion wher we can gather ,do business,  and have get togethers  in good weather .
Gravel finished to facility and on 4 and 5.
I WOUL PERSONALLY LIKE TO SEE THE NOISES  POSSEES ANY WHERE!

You have worked hard this year and it shows. But I do have a concern about something that was brought up before the shoot last Sat And "voted on".  The subject was about changing to a bigger toilet and raising the shooting fee to $20. I think we should wait until the December match to vote because very few knew about it and didn't have a chance to consider it. I also don't recall a chance to vote "nay" plus didn't hear a count for those that voted for it. It seemed rushed and I'm sure all club members want to make an informed decision. By working together this club is the fastest growing in Georgia.

Two Step,

Even if I can't shoot I'll come in December to vote.

I've also got a bag full of COWBOY DVD's I want to raffle or auction.

Yazoo has a saddle to donate for decorations under cover.

The ranch is our favorite place to shoot. As soon as I can get past these ailments I'll be a riding back through the gate.

Howdy,

Raising shooting fees can be a touchy decision. On one hand increasing the fee by 33% seems like a lot. However, it's just the cost of a single Starbucks Coffee or value meal and it's only once per month. Yet, for families with multiple shooters the additional cost could be a problem. I suggest charging the extra $5 to only the first shooter of a family & limiting "family" to a common sense level. The improvements to the range over the last several years has been significant and are much appreciated. Maintenance & improvements will require additional funds. Thanks to all y'all that have contributed your time & talent to the range & TMM.

PS I don't drink Starbucks or support them in any way. But I do my part in supporting fast food joints & cantinas.

My point in bringing this up is present it ahead of time to think about it, whatever the decision is about. That way any questions can be addressed.

Charly has done an exceptional job improving our range. We have come from one of the lowest attended shooting clubs to the highest attended clubs in Georgia. Along with that we have increased our income which had enabled the improvements to be made. Raffles and donations also helped make the improvements possible. There are a lot of little things , most don't think of, like water and ice, paint, some building materials just to name a few that are provided by a few. With the increase in shooters there is an increase in funds available to do the things to make the shooting experience more enjoyable at T M M. The toilet has been discussed for the last three years and the club could not afford the extra cost with the number of shooters we had. I think that has changed now. We should have close to 600 shooters this year. I believe we should have a review of where we are financially before we make a decision to increase shoot fees.  I know there are clubs that charge non members $20. to shoot.  Most of us don't go to these shoots on a regular basis. I see a lot of ideas tossed about as to what we want to do next. I'm not in favor of building anything  on stage six as we seldom shoot six stages. A prevalion is a good idea but we only have two years left on our lease at tje present time. Stage one has worked well for this purpose this past summer.
I think we need to stop for a minute, see where we are financially, and decide as a club what we want to do next.
I think we can get the bigger toilet without raising shoot fees at the present time if that is what the majority wents to do.
I agree, open discussion then vote.
