Staging shotgun
« on: November 28, 2018, 12:11:09 PM »
As shooter is bringing shotgun to staging area the action closes. He carries closed shotgun to table, lays rifle down, opens shotgun, lays it on table and says shooter ready. What's the call?

so what should the shooter do if the action closes on the way to the firing line? Return to the loading table to lay his rifle down and open the action on his shot gun.

Stop, don't take another step, ask someone to open your shotgun or hold your rifle while you open the shotgun.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

I would stop and yell “gun boy come quick”!  After Reno took care of my shotgun I would be good to go. Sorry, Bad Santa made me say that!

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope Santa is good to you!
