August 31rst  the 5th Saturday  in August, Tmm will be holding our 2nd annual  boomtown  shoot!
I have been told I'm long winded in my post!
So I'll try to do this a little at a time!
Goal of BOOMTOWN  is to give all the experiences  of a big shoot in a fast fun 1 day shoot !

What I enjoy at a big multi day shoot, is first off seeing freinds I don't necessarily  see every month, catching up and enjoying their company a day before the match.
In an effort to do that we will have dry camping on the range, bring your  own power,  there is water on site for holding tanks.
The good doctor who owns the farm has the big house for rent 150$ a night.
1 bedroom with queen size bed , 2 other rooms with 2 twin bed each.
Nice place, huge living room and kitchen.
It will accommodate  6 fine, 25$ each.
A group of good freinds could easily do 10 with air mattresses.
Party Friday night!

With that in mind if we have enough people on range, I always enjoy someone  like Tombstone  inviting everyone  to a meal, or a potluck!
Slow Jen and I don't go out to eat much, but loved spending ti.e with everyone  at Ambush, when we went to a local restaurant.

When it comes to the actual match, I enjoy matches  that are fast with a variety  of scenarios,  no long running, no p traps, no muscle  memory  cuteness.
6 straightforward  fast stages, with wide range of sweeps is what will have at Boomtown.

Other things I enjoy at big matches, are the side matches.
Speed pistol , rifle, shotgun, ect....
Hard to do and run in a 3 day match!
Boomtown  will have a side match that all will participate  in!

Side match!
As I said earlier we will all shoot the side match!
Stage 6 will be the side match,  we all shoot in the posse  rotstion.
Stages 1 thru 5 will be the scored match for category,  and top guns
6th stage will be auditions  for Hurricanecharly s WILD WEST SHOW, head liners!

Everyone I shoot with, 8 to 80, blind cripple or crazy CAN SHOOT!

Stage 6 will be fun, things most people don't get to do or try, you will surprise your self!!!

Charly, if there is still room I'd like to come shoot. I've never been able to make it to TMM but always wanted to.
