WTT Ruger SR 1911 .45acp
« on: May 06, 2020, 10:33:52 AM »
I want to trade my like new full size Ruger SR 1911 .45acp for the same pistol in the Officer or Commander size. I have an extra set of grips. Comes with 2 magazines. Would also trade for a Colt .45 Officer model.

If you are looking for a good .45 acp carry gun, I have a LNIB Kahr CW45 that has 3 mags (2 more than the gun came with).  It is a Commander size pistol with 7 round mag capacity and will hold one more in "the pipe".  It has a stainless slide and a polymer grip frame.  It's much lighter than an all steel gun, but the recoil is similar to a regular full size 1911.

It shoots great, but I carry either a Glock 26 with a 19 mag or a Glock 43 X.  I have fired the Kahr, but never carried it; it has become a "safe queen".  I would consider a trade for your Ruger; we could talk to discuss what would be fair.

P.M. me if you are at all interested in some sort of deal.

I rotate through 3 different .45's.  My Glock 36, Colt New Agent and the Ruger for a "church" pistol.  The Ruger is a hair too heavy, depending on how it's carried.  I just like the 1911 platform.  Except as a State Trooper I have carried one for 50 years.
