E O T Territorial Governor's meeting

I will be attending the T G meeting at End Of Trail.  Anyone have anything you would like to see brought up at the meeting.

I like most of our club are not on the s.a.s.s wire or tg forum.
What is up for vote, what is the latest hot topic , what is the word on the street?
Is there anything  coming  up we should know about?
I would like to see the  end of trail every other year on this side of the Mississippi.
Does the west side of Mississippi ( west coast) or the east side have more sass registered shooters/ tg s?

EOT is too big a production to move place to place. The Wild Bunch bought Founders Ranch to be the permanent home of EOT.
I think they gained more east of Mississippi shooters when they moved, but lost a lot of California shooters. They also lost several venders in the move.
After a few years of being in New Mexico, EOT went from being a Wild West show with a 12 stage shooting match to just a really big shooting match.

I have not been, I'm sure you are correct.
The request  to have our governor  and hopefully  all the other governors  east of the Mississippi to bring up change of venue is so we have our voice represented and not just this is how it is.
No delusions of them changing , but doesn't hurt to mention it.
Most of us keep up our sass membership and T.M.M  pays its association  fee yearly.
What is up for vote , any rule changes?

Ps  Eot should be a big shoot it's the world championship!
Do California  shooters out # east coast , just curious.?
I agree it would be difficult  to change venues  but it could be done .
As far as a wildest show , I'd want to make that the theme of our 2nd Boomtown  annual this year, any ideas?

There won't be any voting for changes at the T G meeting . The big issue now seems to be how to vote on the recomendations that have been approved by the rules oversite committee.  It seems like SASS would like to have a Governors summit in Los Vegas. There is opposition to on line voting as some say there would be no face to face discussion.  Also there is question  simular to electoral votes. Are bigger clubs get more votes than smaller clubs
I am in favor of online voting.  One club, one vote. I don't think EOT will ever change locations . I will voice any concerns ypu may have at the T G meeting.

Keep EOT where it is.  Purly, it's your call concerning online voting but I agree with you.  And I wonder how many would still be pushing for face-to-face discussions if the governor's summit meeting was moved to somewhere like Davenport, Iowa?

So no new rules up for vote?
If they decide to do face to face voting in Vegas and a clubs Governor  cant attend for what ever reason does that mean they get no vote?
Electoral  makes sense in a way, but could open a can of worms.
I'm for 1 club, 1 vote.
I know it probably  wont happen, and has been brought up before, still like them to know some of us would like to explore the possibility  of a centralized  location for eot.

If a TG is unable to attend, he/she can get another TG to carry a proxy vote for them. Or they could send in their proxy to SASS hq and they will vote for them.
