Looked at the long range forcast, it looks like unseasonably  , fall type weather at the end of august/ first week of September!!!
Cold , cool ,warm or hot it will be a good time!

Starting g to build up too BOOMTOWN!
I posted In another  heading,  we will be awarding belt buckles  to category  winners and best dressed.
34 categories available,  first come( registered  first served)
Most typical categories  will be shot, but there is room for you folks who are creative!
Best one so far,: red headed English 49r!
We will have 6 fast stages, some interesting things we don't see every day and a good time!
Raffle gun this year is a ar 9 16 inch with enhanced trigger from factory!     1 for 10 ,  3 for 20.  20 for a hundred!
100% OF PROCEEDS  GO TO CLUB/ SHOOTING EXPERIENCE and making improvements  to Tmm!

We have lots to do, but in my (SPARE TIME)I'm thinking can we have a category  such as moving  cowboy/ cowgirl?
Suggestions  to make it work?

Starting to think about stages.
We have to keep it moving, a good variety  of multi tap, sweep, movement, little accuracy,  lots of options, moving target, door breaching, off the top of my head!

Boomtown  is 5 give or take weeks away!!
Lots to do, officers  have stood up to do some of it, much thanks!

We now have almost 60 shooters signed up!
Again, fast stages with all aspects of shooting covered, popsicles  during match, water, water melon, fans for b.p shooters.
Top notch catered bbq for lunch,hand delivered ice cream for dessert!
Door prize for all, with ticket to win other prizes!
Ar 9 raffle gun, 1 for 10.  3 for 20.  20 for 100$ 600$ value!!!!
Belt buckle  for category  winners,  best dressed, ect.....
The match will be fast and the most successful,  and fastest  match for all shooters attending!
Side entertainment  will be along the lines of Black Gold / Appylucy/ Loose Cinch ( just plain fun) type competition,  knife and tomahawk  throwing, ect...
Yes ,Rolan there will be short( very short stories)!
Dry camping at range, big house on range for rent will sleep 6 to 12 people if you are good freinds!

Is there a difference  between out law shooting rifle from shoulder as opposed  to from hip, if so what is the category  called?
Do I get to name it?

There isn't a SASS Outlaw category.  Local clubs add categories whenever they want with agreed to rules. Outlaw is one of ours but I see different shooters shooting from the shoulder and some from the hip.  Everyone would want to know the exact rules ahead of a big match like Boom Town.  SASS recognized categories are in a new post, with exact rules found in the Shooter's Handbook found below.
