Little up date, wensday the port went in she did well with that.
By Friday  evening  she was swelled up and in pain , saturday morning we were headed to the E.R called doc and he had us a room at Erlanger in 10 minutes.
Got there and they planned to relieve pressure  and fluids Sunday.
9.30 pm needed to do emergency surgery  to bypass her colon,  if not it would have been 'catastrophic  acording to the doctor.
Sunday was rough, Monday healing, which was our original  date to start chemo .
Tuesday  after going through  all that 20+ staples ect.... living hell they felt she was strong enough  to do chemo  Tuesday!
6 hrs  of chemo, released wensday at 1pm !
The kids and I are glad to have her home , she is as tough as they come!
I can't possibly  thank the cowboy  community enough  for the thoughts prayers and wishes.
The cowgirls who call text and check in onSlow Jen are a God sent!!!

Slow Jen  and I appreciate  all the post, thoughts, prayers, cards , visits, flow0ers , food, and offers of help!
Every day she is doing better and getting more ornery,  which makes me feel a sense  of normalcy  returning.
We have always  thought of the cowboy/ cowgirl community  as great friends, with out being cornny  in times like this your support feels like family.
