I reviewed the 2018 rules and a few items are different than I posted:

1.   Model 12 SGs no longer have to be declared at the line and trigger pressed ... but will still be a DQ if the gun is cocked when first staged.   Slide will not rack back when the gun is cocked.  So if the shooter can't rack when gun is picked up ... immediate stop to check gun.  If loaded, then SDQ

2.  No longer a DQ for reloading with 1911 slide forward (for example slide closes on its own or when inserting new magazine)

3.  Penalty for moving with an unloaded 1911 (slide forward) is reduced to MSV, moving with a loaded 1911 (slide forward) is still an SDQ

Yes ... this Sat after the match.

Ammo requirements in my 1st post re WB are for shooting the one trial stage.   You can shoot the stage more than once but we are only setting up the single stage.

Ziggy, special thanks for the Wild Bunch coaching today. Looking forward to more. It is different. For all you folks who don't like up-close targets. Here's your game!

Those that shoot it seem to like it.   This area has never really embraced it.   Big in Carolina(s) & out west.   I've always been partial to 1911s so for me it is just another venue to shoot my favorite handgun.
