We got to the campground yesterday.  It rained most of the way here and it was a lot colder here than in Ga. Watched the  black powder night shoot last night. The range is a little soggy from all the rain but hopefully thats out of here.

Warm up and side match is over. The main match starts in the morning. Susposed to be on the cool side wben we start. The stages look better this year than they did last year.  The range is still a little soggy but they put down a lot of straw. Let's shoot.

Getting ready for the last 5 stages today. It's colder than a witches broom handle.  I like to shoot when it's cold.😨

Purly forgot to mention that he finished 8th overall!  Yeehaw that was good shooting!

It was a great match from stage setup through the banquet and awards.  Hot Lead Lefty and his crew did a wonderful job and we can't thank them enough for all the hard work.  That being said, I sure hope the weather in North Alabama is dry and much warmer next year for the Regional match.  Brrrrrr it was cold!

On a sad note, it seems some lousy thieves decided to break in a few vehicles and steal some of the cowboys stuff during the banquet Saturday night.  Double Nickel lost his carry gun and the dash wash torn so the thieves could take the stereo as well.  I believe his wife's purse was also taken, which contained her driver's license, keys, etc.  That is super scary as I know from past experience!  Tombstone John's vehicle was the other one broken into.  They took his and Randy Saint Eagle's holsters, shotgun belts, ammo, and several other items.  Fortunately, the thieves were not able to gain access to any of the cowboy guns.  As we all know, this seems to be the way the world is more and more these days.  Please be very vigilant in keeping your equipment safe!

Congratulations to y'all who shot well at the Southeast Regional.

Sorry to hear about the low down skunks who broke into vehicles at the banquet. Hope the stolen items are found. Some items just can't be replaced. I'm always a bit anxious when traveling with our gear & firearms.
