Shooter is shooting delish category.  Shooter draws right pistol, as he pulls the trigger on the 5th round he pulls the left pistol. The 5th shot does not fire. He cocks the right pistol and attempts to fire the 5th round.  Any penalty ?

I do like reading these WHAT'S THE CALL posts and seeing the correct answer.  Pull both revolvers while shooting duelist?  Been there.  Done that.  If there is a tee-shirt, I never got one.

Now a comment about the "delish" category.  "Shooter is shooting delish category."  If this has anything to do with cake or pie or fried chicken, Count me in !

There was a recent clarification where if you draw the 2nd pistol before the first is empty you can correct the situation with no penalty providing you holster one before either is cocked. Once you cock either you have earned the progressive "P" Keystone was talking about.

Randy

That's correct, the penalty occurs when you cock either pistol.
